Manta Air takes over the skies of the Maldives with their new Beechcraft 1900D aircraft

Manta Air with their new addition of the Beechcraft 1900D to their fleet will commence daily flight operations between Velana International Airport and Hoarafushi Airport. Recently Mantar Air revealed their deal with JA Manafaru regarding the charter service to the Hoarafushi Airport.

With the traditional rhythms of Maldivian Boduberu echoing on the airstrips, passengers traveling on the first flight to the airport were welcomed in high spirits. The regional Airports company and the island council organized a special ceremony which was held after the welcoming procession. The lucky passengers experienced the world-renowned Maldivian hospitality through a traditional “Malaafai” presentation put together by the island council.

Enriching the travel experience exponentially, the new 18-seater Beechcraft 1900D charter service is equipped with air conditioning and comfortable standing height in the aisle which will also be available for private operations along with daily flight operations. The Beechcraft 1900D is the smallest and fastest aircraft available in the market right now and will be able to keep up with the ATRs during its flights. CEO of Manta Air, Mr. Mohamed Khaleel expressed his thoughts on the new partnership with JA Manafaru.
